Job Opportunity: Planner in the City of Carbondale, IL

Regular, full-time, professional urban planning position. Serves as City staff person for zoning, subdivision, site plan, and annexation cases. Prepares special studies such as population projections, transportation studies, historic preservation designations, downtown development, economic development and other topics related to developmental issues. Answers questions from the public concerning City’s development regulations. Issues zoning certificates and other development approvals.
